Hand Forged Iron Anniversary Gifts

Iron is the traditional gift for a sixth wedding anniversary, and that is what this corner of the shop is for.
Everything here is forged by hand at my anvil in Slad, near Stroud. Real iron work — heated in the fire and shaped with a hammer — rather than something cast and given an iron-effect finish.
What is here at the moment
The forged heart bowl at £40 is the obvious one. The hammer marks are left on the surface, it is hot-waxed in pure beeswax to darken the steel, and it is heavier in the hand than people expect. Good for rings, coins or a tea light by the front door.
There are also two heart keyrings at £25 each. One has the heart stamped into thick mild steel, and some of those have copper fused into the centre. The other is forged from 6mm steel round bar, with the spirals flattened down under the hammer. A keyring gets handled every day for years, which is a quietly fitting thing for a sixth anniversary.
Something made to suit
If you want a particular size, or a shape that means something to the pair of you, email me. Forging to order is straightforward enough and it will mean a good deal more than something off a shelf.
Standard lead time is 4 working days, then 48 hour shipping.
