Blacksmithing Experience Days

A full day at the anvil in my forge in Slad, just outside Stroud, in the heart of the Cotswolds.
You will be making things from early on. The day usually starts with a hook, because it teaches the moves everything else is built from — drawing down, tapering, scrolling and twisting. After that it is pokers, handles, pendants, or whatever takes your fancy.
No experience needed whatsoever. Most people who come have never picked up a blacksmith's hammer in their lives, and nobody has left disappointed yet.
Maximum six people on a day, so you get proper time at the fire and I can actually see what everyone is doing. We run 10:30am to around 4:30pm, and I stay on a little longer if anyone is finishing something off.
Everything you make is yours to take home. It is yours, you made it.
