Iron Christmas Tree Decoration, Cut & Forged by Hand

Cut from sheet, then forged and finished by hand at my anvil in Slad — my version of a Christmas decoration that isn’t plastic.

Every line across the branches is a blow from the cross-pein of my hammer, which is why no two ever come out quite the same.

Shape, size and colour will vary a little from the photo. That’s hand work for you, and it’s rather the point.

It’ll still be going on the tree long after the plastic ones have cracked.
