Ready to craft something truly unique? Join us for a hands-on blacksmithing experience where history comes alive in the heat of the forge!

We’ll kick off the day with a warm welcome and a cuppa as we cover the essentials of health and safety. Then, it’s straight into the action – you’ll get familiar with the tools and techniques by learning a few techniques on offcuts, followed by creating your first project: a hand forged hook featuring tapering, scrolling, and twisting (or a reverse twist if you’re feeling adventurous!)

Once your hook is crafted, you’ll have the freedom to choose from a few different items to forge (from a selection I suggest and have the metal stock for), and if you’re quick, you can make even more to take home as personal keepsakes.

With a maximum of just 4 people per session, you’ll get plenty of one-on-one time with our blacksmith, ensuring you leave with skills, memories, and something you’ve made yourself (ideally a few items). We wrap up around 5 PM, but if you’re mid-project, we’re happy to stay a LITTLE later to help you finish up.
